                                                Contract for Boarding

In consideration of Redwood Pet Resort Ltd. accepting my pet for boarding, grooming or other services, I acknowledge and agree that the following shall apply each time.

1. Redwood shall exercise reasonable care for the pet(s) delivered by the Owner to the kennel for boarding.  It is agreed that Redwoods’ liability shall in no one event exceed $1,000 per animal boarded.  The owner further agrees to be solely responsible for any and all acts of behavior of said pet while it is in the care of the kennel.  I agree that the exercise plans that Redwood offers are at my own risk, and if any medical bills arise as the result of me signing my pet up for one of these plans, I agree to pay for any and all expenses.
2. Redwood may have a veterinarian treat my pet and hospitalize my pet if Redwood in its sole discretion feels it is in the bet interest of my pet.  Before I remove my pet(s) from Redwoods’ premises, I will pay all charges of Redwood for boarding, grooming or any other services together with any charges incurred by Redwood in treating and hospitalizing my pet.   
3. If I do not pick up my pet from Redwoods’ premises within 5 days following the date on which I agreed to pick up my pet, Redwood may at any time after giving not less than 3 days notice by registered mail to my address as set out on this form, may dispose of my pet as it sees fit.  I acknowledge that in such event, I will continue to be liable for all charges incurred by Redwood as set out above together with the cost of disposing of my pet and I do herby fully release Redwood of any and all liability with respect to my pet.
4. It is Redwood policy that all pets boarding be fully vaccinated and that all owners must provide proof of such vaccinations.  If the owner is unable to provide the required paperwork showing the pet’s vaccination status, the owner gives Redwood Pet Resort permission for their vet to release the last vaccination information according to their records.  I understand and give permission for Redwood Pet Resort to take the pet to a veterinarian to administer the required vaccinations at the owner’s expense.  I further give permission for my regular veterinarian to release any and all medical history for my pet to Redwood Pet Resort in the case of an emergency.
