	Redwood Pet Resort

At Redwood, we offer your pet Acana  dog and cat food.  Canned Wet Food  is also available for our guests. If you would like to keep your pet on the same diet as they have at home, please bring along your pets own brand of food and we will be more than happy to feed it.  Meals are served in the morning and late-afternoon with a lunch also available.  Fresh water is available to the dogs at all times.

If your pet has special feeding instructions, or requires a frequent feeding schedule, our facility is staffed and equipped to accommodate our guests special needs.

Special diets are not a  problem as we have a fridge and freezer available at the resort.  Please bring your own food in a labelled container with enough food for your pet's entire stay.  Please inform us at check in of any dietary concerns you may have so we can make your pets stay as pleasant as possible with us.  With a change in food your pet may experience a loose stool.  If you find this with the Acana food please bring your pets brand along with you the next time we see you at the resort.  Our staff will inform you as to your pets' eating habits while staying here.

We provide stainless bowls for all of our guests to insure a clean and sanitary eating environment. 

If you pet requires medication during their stay, please inform the staff member checking your pet in. All medication must be provided in a labelled bottle or container.  There is an extra charge of $0.50 per dose given. For any animals needing Insulin, needles can be administered for a fee of $2 per dose during office hours. If insulin is required after office hours, the cost is $15 (in order to bring in a qualified staff member to administer the injection).

Please note that while Redwood can administer medications to your pet, Redwood does not warrant or represent that it's staff has been specifically trained to treat your pet's particular condition. If you have any concerns about your pet's condition, you should board your pet with a veterinarian or animal hospital where it can be medicated by individuals trained to treat your pet's condition.

Feel comfortable to let us know if your pet needs special attention.  We have kitchen facilities to store frozen and/or fresh food brought from home.  We want to make this holiday experience the best we can for your dog or cat.  Personal items may be brought from home including blankets and or towels to give your dog or cat a "piece of home".  Toys may also be brought along but please ensure that they are not too valuable as they can go "missing in action".  We always try to freshly launder any blankets brought along with your pet before going home.
